My Dream My Future

My interest in architecture began when I was a child. As a child, I always wondered how the tall building and skyscrapers in towns and cities were able to stand and remain strong despite the heavy rains and winds. I was constantly interested in knowing how these buildings were designed and how the people who built them were able to do so. My curiosity about these buildings and their designs grew more and more and I became very inquisitive since I wanted to find out what it entails to design such buildings. I had an innate need to find out how buildings and houses were designed and put up. This need drove me to find out who was responsible for these unique designs. The answers that I got from the people I asked never convinced me and that was when I made the choice of becoming an architect so that I could be part of the teams that are responsible for coming up with such wonderful designs and buildings.

As I grew up, I was determined that I would one day pursue studies in architecture and fulfill my dream of becoming a leading architect. Architecture has always fascinated and intrigued me because it provides talented individuals an opportunity to express themselves through their designs. Architecture gives individuals the ability to show their creativity and innovation by coming up with unique designs and forms. My interest in architecture was inspired by its ability to allow one to come up with conventional designs. I was interested in architecture from an early age because of how people are able to defy all odds and hardships by coming up with persistent and strong building designs. I feel that no other field gives one the ability to express himself or herself as architecture does.

Change Starts with Me

We live day by day not knowing what’s capable of happening next but we focus on what’s needed and what we want in our lives. Sure we may not be so proud of the choices we made in the past, but there initially is nothing we can do except to pick ourselves up and move on. What happened in the past is over and done with, but we start to change our future for the better.
Also a key thing to always be sure about is how you feel. Feelings lead to greater things like happiness. Happiness does exist, even if its for just a second. For that second you knew the feeling of happiness and all its great surroundings its comes along with. Happiness gives you every capability of acting like a kid again, jumping around, throwing random punches while saying “YEAH, YEAH, YEAH!!!” and each and every ones of us is guilty of that feeling. Don’t deny it because its something that’s worth it, something that’s always going to be there and never leave your side because we take in happiness but only when we say we want to. And we all know this is true. Even just for a second we can take a step back to smile even at our worst times, because no matter how much of an ignorant, arrogant person you are you will always and will forever continue to smile. That mile signifies one of the most important feelings in the world. Happiness……
To have the guts to reveal your mistakes in the past truly tells you something, that you know clearly that things went wrong but looking for a better future. Every choice we make in life is involving risks, don’t worry about the past life for theres nothing at all we can do, except move on and hope for the best. But rather hoping just take a step back and give yourself a chance to smile. For that smile will forever reign on your future and provide the happiness we all seek for.

New Year New Me

My new year’s resolution is to get better in school, especially in first regular class because that’s the hardest subject I have. I want to pass all of my test grades in math, do all homework and do better in everything, such as projects, tests, homework, class work and my behavior in class.
I want to pass all of my test grades by doing homework, asking questions in class, paying attention and check my work before I handed in. Doing all of that will bring me into a good high school, and that’s what making me do well this year. I have to do all of these things to let my dream come true, which is going to an excellent high school and making my parents proud of me.
I also want to do all of my homework and that’s really hard for me to do because sometimes I have a lot of home works from other classes and I’m going to get so busy and tiered to do my homework. But I have to force my self to do all of my homework and doing homework will make you pass this class. I have to do all of my homework by writing every homework assignment in my planner, concentrate in class so I can understand the subject and it will make the homework easer and focus more.
Finally I want to do better in everything. In projects, test grades, homework … etc. I have to work as hard as I can to pass math class. Also my behavior in class is not that good because I’ve been talking too much in class and I’m not concentrating.
So, I have to focus more and try harder. Math is the most important subject I have, it’s really hard. In the 1st marking period I did a really good job in math maybe because that was the 1st marking period and I tried hard. But for this 2nd marking period I’ve been lacking behind, I’m not paying much attention this marking period. So I have to de better and work so hard.

Essence of Christmas

We are in that special season once again, a season of joy, of peace, of great tidings. A season when we celebrate the birth of Christ the King, the redeemer of mankind! Jesus is the reason for the season.

What does Christmas mean to you and me?

Christmas spirit is a spirit of giving and forgiving. Christmas is not all about merry making. We must also spare time to reflect on the essence of the period which is the love of God for humanity.

The spirit behind Christmas is that of giving and sharing. The three wise men, on learning about the born child, came calling with gifts of gold, incense and myrrh Christmas heart is a giving heart, a wide open heart that thinks of others first.

Climate Change

Climate change is a tangible problem and its existence can no longer be denied. It is one of the most important scientific, economic threats facing to the earth. There are many factors lead to climate change, such as greenhouse gases, carbon dioxide, fossil fuels. Although it would be self-deception to believe that humans had nothing to do with it, the fact is that human activities caused negative effects on climate change. More people exploit more natural resources, cut more trees, use more fossil fuels, produce more wastes, build more roads, dams and cities, pollute more soil, water and air, and contribute more greenhouse gases to the atmosphere, which may lead to the ozone depletion and global warming ultimately damaging the entire environment and annoying the climatic change. Thus, man is capable of influencing global climate deliberately or inadvertently through his various actions and activities.

As a citizen, we can ensure that governments recognize the importance of global warming and follow through on their promises. If we’re really passionate about having our voice heard, we might even want to consider joining a group dedicated to spreading the world about global warming.

Equal Rights Equal Oppurtunities

Society must understand that women and men can never have the same roles in most aspects of life, but they must be given the same tools to better themselves as people. Women and men deserve equal opportunities, but it must be understood that society views and expects different things from both sexes. Women deserve the same education and work opportunities.

We live in an imperfect society where women are often looked at differently than men. Due to our history, this is just a reality. However, the law sees men and women as equals, and it has been this way for several decades. It's true that this world is imperfect to live in, and the truth is we would all like to change or alter it to some degree it to make it the world in which we live in today.

I think women should have the same rights as men because we are all humans and we should be respected even if we have different sex.

Going Global Through English Language

Language plays an important role in human life. Out of all the languages in the world, English is considered as the international language. There are some reasons why English is so important and many people attempt to learn it.

How do we communicate with other people in foreign countries who do not speak our mother tongue? The answer is using English because everyone knows at least a little English. English helps to raise up tourism because its easy to communicate with the foreigners. Just think about how hard would it be to keep tourism in each country if tourist guides and the tourist didn't know at least a little English. English language makes the things go easier that's what I think.

Now a call is made to each and everyone to learn and practice the English language better. By doing so we can face the world with our head up high and say, I am a Filipino; I have the access to the entire globe.
